Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or above, with at least one year's experience in an insurance or financial services environment. Responsibilities

The main responsibility is to support the Alternative Risk Transfer Solutions (ART) team in client management, business development, solution structuring, broking, and deal closure. Specific responsibilities include:

  1. Client Responsibilities
  • Support the renewal of existing programmes, including client meetings, data collection, analysis, underwriting submissions, market liaison, negotiations, policy documentation, and invoicing.
  • Assist in responding to inquiries from clients, prospects, and colleagues.
  1. Technical Responsibilities
  • Gain a thorough understanding of ART solutions and their value for clients.
  • Use data analysis techniques to model and price weather-index and other parametric solutions.
  • Support the design of new tailored solutions to meet client needs.
  • Assist in developing new business opportunities and preparing RFP responses.
  • Support negotiations with (re)insurers and ensure compliant policy execution and client after-care.
  1. People Responsibilities
  • Build a network of contacts within WTW globally.
  • Develop relationships with the global ART team and industry leaders.
  • Maintain contacts in ART markets and stay updated on solution offerings.
  1. Operational Responsibilities
  • Manage sales pipeline, priorities, and financial records, tracking actions and issues promptly.
  • Enter policy information into WTW systems.
  • Support the team's presence on intranet, blogs, and social media.
  • Keep case studies and sales materials current.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree with a GPA of 3.0+ (US) or 2.1+ (UK), or international equivalent.
  • All majors/degrees considered; STEM subjects preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills adaptable to diverse audiences.
  • Interest in finance and insurance industry; first-hand experience not required.
  • Proficiency in standard software, especially Excel.
  • Second language skills are desirable but not essential.
