About The Role

At GSF Car Parts, our Warehouse Operatives play an important role within the team by ensuring orders are picked and packed, ready for delivery. They champion customer service through efficient stock coordination and understand delivery timeframes. As a Warehouse Operative on a zero hour/casual contract, you will support the branch in covering holidays or absences.

Main Duties include:

  • Checking and storing supplier-delivered parts
  • Picking and loading vans accurately and promptly
  • Checking customer returns for resale, warranty, or surcharge
  • Verifying stock quantities against the computer system and stock locations

Working hours: Up to (average) hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday shifts, depending on branch needs.

  • Experience in a fast-paced warehouse or similar environment
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good team player
  • Efficient work with attention to detail
  • Understanding of customer service and deadlines
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of car parts and the automotive industry (desirable)
