Job description

Tender Coordinator


Main Duties:

  1. Production of high-quality tender submissions, ensuring all processes are adhered to
  2. Liaising with technical teams to ensure the correct technical approach is advised and offered to the client
  3. Liaising / Negotiating with third party suppliers and vessel brokers to ensure the most commercially competitive quotation is received
  4. Writing the proposal documentation, collating information from relevant departments
  5. Pricing the tender including contacting third party suppliers and vessel brokers to ensure the most commercially competitive proposal is achieved
  6. Collating the tender in full, identifying any deliverables required and coordinating the production of these accordingly
  7. Hosting / Attending Internal and External tender meetings where necessary
  8. Addressing tender clarifications and liaising with the team to ensure all the questions can be addressed
  9. Efficient handover from tendering to operations, ensuring all departmental requirements are captured
  10. Liaising with Group Commercial Lead to ensure all risks are captured and mitigated

Qualifications:

  1. Degree qualified / working towards
  2. Experience of working with industry related tenders preferred
  3. Good communication skills
  4. Problem solving skills
  5. Work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  6. Proactive, self-driven and assertive
  7. Substantial experience using MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  8. Proactive in prioritising own workload and assigned areas of responsibility to others
