Job Description:

Project Manager - Rail / Infrastructure
Location: London
Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 + Benefits
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

I'm working on behalf of a well-established construction consultancy that's actively looking to hire an experienced Project Manager with a background in rail and/or infrastructure projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-value, complex infrastructure schemes across the UK. They have a healthy project pipeline and are looking to grow their team with a confident professional who can lead client-facing delivery.

The Role:
You'll be responsible for managing infrastructure or rail projects from start to finish - coordinating stakeholders, keeping delivery on track, and ensuring client expectations are exceeded. You'll operate in a consultancy environment where communication, attention to detail, and proactive project control are key.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading full project lifecycles, from feasibility through to handover
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders
  • Managing risk, programme, budget, and quality across multiple workstreams
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and external consultants
  • Delivering regular reports to senior stakeholders

What I'm Looking For:

  • Solid experience as a Project Manager within rail and/or infrastructure
  • Background in a consultancy environment is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of NEC or similar contract forms
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • APM, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is a plus

What's on Offer:

  • Competitive salary depending on experience
  • Bonus and benefits package
  • Exposure to nationally significant infrastructure schemes
  • Hybrid/flexible working arrangements
  • Career development and training support
