What you’ll do:
  1. Review job requests, relevant safety data, and fully understand testing requirements in accordance with laboratory SOPs.
  2. Perform test work according to laboratory request requirements. Record raw data directly onto datasheets or electronically, immediately notifying laboratory management of any test delays, problems, or deviations.
  3. Review timelines and discuss schedule conflicts or modifications with laboratory management (and Quality Organization, where necessary).
  4. Operate, understand, and troubleshoot all equipment/instrumentation necessary to support testing.
  5. Understand how various laboratory systems (including purchasing, calibration, materials inventory) are maintained. Responsibility for maintenance of such systems may be assigned.
Who you are:
  1. Degree or equivalent in a Chemical and/or Engineering Discipline or the equivalent work experience that provides knowledge and exposure to fundamental theories and concepts.
  2. Knowledge of laboratory techniques and measurement methods.
  3. Strong analytical skills to analyze test results and interpret data.
  4. Work safely and comply with the company’s health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
  5. Proficient with PC-based programs.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
  • Understanding of GMP regulations
