Job description

Job Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic registered health professional to lead our innovative team of clinicians in the Digital Care Hub at Airedale NHS Foundation.

The Digital Care Hub Manager will be responsible for the leadership, management, direction and day to day financial control of all services within the Digital Care Hub. The role is an integral part of our senior leadership team and will work alongside Airedale's new hospital programme, helping shape the future of virtual services for the Trust and wider local area.

Main duties of the job

Working in conjunction with the Head of Digital Care Hub engage with new and current customers to develop and operationally deliver contracts and services, ensuring excellent customer experience.

The post holder will be required to create and manage long-term relationships between the Digital Care Hub and a range of clients (NHS, local authority, voluntary sector, commercial companies).

Overall management of services delivered from the Digital Care Hub which at present include:

  • Immedicare – National care home service
  • Goldline- Palliative Care service
  • MyCare24- Long term Conditions/Virtual Wards

The post holder will work with the local providers of all clinical services as well as customers to define and maintain standards of service delivery and develop the service in a way that aids client retention and generates new business. The post holder will have day to day budget responsibility for all services delivered from the Digital Care Hub. All staff in the Digital Care Hub will be operationally accountable to the post holder - clinical staff will be professionally accountable to the Nurse Consultant, Digital and Acute Care.
