Job description

The post holder will be responsible for completing person-centred, strength, and outcomes-based assessments for people referred to the Technology Enabled Care Service. You will also deliver, collect, install, demonstrate, repair, and maintain care technology equipment, including telecare.

You will support people of all ages to maintain their health and wellbeing, including those leaving hospital or at risk of requiring additional health and social care support. Supporting unpaid carers to continue caring for friends and family is also part of this role.

Responsibilities:
  1. Complete person-centred, strength, and outcomes-based assessments for individuals of all ages living in Oxfordshire.
  2. Manage stock on the van daily.
  3. Set up, repair, and collect care technology in people's homes. Support them in using their mobile and smart home technology, apps, etc., as needed.
  4. Ensure compliance with all mandatory training and participate in training to stay updated on best practices and equipment.
  5. Perform any other duties deemed appropriate by the line manager.
Requirements:
  • Full UK driving license.
  • A team player with a flexible approach and good communication skills.
  • Adherence to current quality initiatives within the work area.
  • Compliance with policies, procedures, and guidelines, including those related to Equal Opportunities, Health and Safety, and Confidentiality.
  • Polite, courteous, and professional, representing NRS Healthcare positively at all times.
  • Knowledge of Technology Enabled Care solutions installation and maintenance.
  • Experience working with vulnerable people.
  • Experience demonstrating and installing equipment.
  • Technical skills related to care technology.
