Job description

Job Title: Warehouse Stores Operative

We are recruiting for a Warehouse Stores Operative for a leading IT service provider based in Hatfield.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 11:00 – 19:00

About the Role

This role involves supporting break/fix contracts by supplying components and devices from our warehouse to customer sites or end users. The ideal candidate will have high accuracy, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. Experience with stock control, Warehouse management ERP systems (preferably SAP and WMCS), and logistical operations is highly desirable. You should be a team player, flexible, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and possess excellent communication skills.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Picking and placement of parts against SLA
  2. Maintaining stock accuracy
  3. Stock consolidation and efficient storage management
  4. Scanning and updating SAP accurately
  5. Stock counting and audits
  6. Timely placement of parts at drop points
  7. Producing delivery notes using Excel templates
  8. Maintaining high standards of housekeeping (6S environment)
  9. Stock write-offs and stock gains
