Within the Care in the Home division, we support clients with spinal cord injury, neurological and acquired brain injury to live independently in their own homes. We'd like you to join us as a Live In Support Worker based in West Hampstead.
What you'll be doing:Our client has a spinal cord injury and they need support to lead an independent life in their home and community.
- You will move into a client's home and support them with personal care (including washing, dressing, and toileting), moving and handling, domestic tasks, and social activities. The client enjoys swimming which is supported by a secondary agency.
When you'll be working:- Assignments 2 weeks long
- Regular consistent work with rolling rotas
- You must commit to working regularly each month to enable continuity of care for our clients
What you'll have:- Kind and caring nature
- Flexibility & reliability; continuity of care is imperative for our clients
- Good communication skills and hold a good conversation with the client
- To share an interest in sports and being active with the client
- To be able to pick up skills and tasks quickly and use initiative
- Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
What to look forward to:- £805 per week / £115 per day on a zero-hour contract
- Potential for regular consistent work with set rolling rotas minimum of 2 weeks on
