1st Step Solutions are supporting a successful multi-disciplinary building and MEP services consultancy business who are looking to expand their team with a Graduate MEP Surveyor / Engineer.

Responsibilities:

1. Surveys for PMP and Capex planning
2. Surveys for asset I.D and PPM programme production
3. Strategy advice on retrofit feasibility (Carbon Zero Initiative)
4. Consulting advice on PPM contractor appointment
5. HVAC systems design
6. Gas Safe heating advice and compliance consultancy
7. HIU and Heat pump retrofit feasibility
8. EPC improvement advice and recommendation
9. HV/LV upgrade advice and planning (with UKPN)
10. RIBA stage 4 on all MEP design for installation, upgrade & redevelopment
11. RIBA stage 5&6 on all MEP quality monitoring of installations
12. HVAC commissioning management
13. CCTV drainage inspections
14. Consulting on vertical transportation systems
15. BMS and controls upgrade specifications
16. MEP Life safety systems advice and consultancy (BSC linked)
17. Security (CCTV) and access control system re-design
18. Fire alarm and AOV system design and PM
19. LED lighting design and PM
20. MEP TDD on pre-purchase and pre-leasing opportunities in commercial and private residential sectors
21. Swimming pool and Spa facilities consultation
22. Legionella prevention advice and water treatment consultation

1. Engineering degree preferred
2. Experience of working on commercial offices and block residential desirable
3. Capability to accept responsibilities and accomplish project objectives in a timely manner.
4. Good computer skills especially with Microsoft Office.
5. To actively contribute to the team (internal and client team)
