Job Title: Graduate Placement / Work Experience – Finance Department
Location: London or Maidenhead (Thames Valley)

Overview of the Role
This is a great opportunity for a final-year student or recent graduate in Accounting or Finance to gain experience within a professional finance department. You’ll join a friendly, high-performing team and contribute to a range of core finance activities, including AP & AR, Project support, and Reporting. The placement offers valuable exposure to how a finance function operates in a commercial setting; while helping you develop essential skills and build a strong foundation for a future career in accounting or finance.
What You’ll Be Doing
You will work closely with the finance team to support key functions, including:
AP & AR Support
• Monitor the AP inbox and respond to internal and external queries.
• Assist with the processing and posting of supplier invoices into the finance system.
• Support AR process by raising client invoices, sending statements, and following up on outstanding payments.
• Help maintain accurate customer records and assist in reconciling debtor balances.
Project Finance Administration
• Support the setting up of new projects within the finance system.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency during setup and updates.
Reporting and Reconciliation
• Generate ad hoc reports using the finance system.
• Assist with preparing account reconciliations and other financial tasks as required.
What We’re Looking For
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
• Confident using Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• A proactive, enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills and a team-player mindset.
