Job Title: Leisure Assistant Level 2

Location: Various Locations In Renfrewshire, PA1 1UJ

Salary: £12,501 - £25,003 per year

Contract Type: Temporary

Position Type: Full Time & Part Time

Hours: 0 to 37 hours per week (flexible shift patterns)

Job Overview

We are seeking motivated and positive Leisure Assistants to provide expertise, advice, and support to our customers. This role involves ensuring our customers have the best experience possible while using our facilities.

You will use your interpersonal skills to interact with customers, offer advice, coach, and promote the uptake of other services, activities, and promotions within our facilities.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Must be a competent swimmer and willing to participate in a swim test
  • Good interpersonal skills and judgment
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Experience working with the public
  • Possession of or willingness to train towards a NARS Pool Life Guard qualification (training provided, qualification within 8 weeks)
  • Experience within a Leisure Centre or Swimming Pool is desirable
  • Possession of an Assistant Swimming Teacher Certificate and First Aid Certificate is desirable

Successful candidates will need to be flexible with hours to meet service needs. Available hours are 37 hours and 18.5 hours per week, with shift patterns subject to change.

Additional Information

The interview process includes a swim test. Successful candidates will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland PVG Children check. Applications are encouraged from candidates of all backgrounds, including those with disabilities and care experience.
