We are now searching:

Job Purpose

Traveling both within the UK and overseas, you will provide service and upgrade work in customers’ sites, for our aftermarket department.

Main Duties

  1. Provide hands-on mechanical / electrical field support, for the full range of EMEA equipment.
  2. Ensure general service visits, inspections, equipment refurbishments, re-builds and upgrades, relocation of customers’ existing equipment, and customer training.
  3. Troubleshoot and repair system failures or malfunctions.
  4. Help with installation or technical support, if needed.
  5. When required, supervise other engineers onsite.
  6. Write service reports and document all maintenance and repair work.
  7. Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  8. Provide feedback on market information and customer comments.

Candidate Profile

  1. Mechanical background, with ideally electrical skills as well - hands-on profile.
  2. Experience in installation or maintenance of complex equipment.
  3. Experience of food equipment and processes would be appreciated.
  4. Customer focus with excellent communication skills and a successful track record of developing external or internal customer relationships.
  5. Good problem-solving techniques using an analytical approach.
  6. Ability to work alone but still be part of a team.
  7. Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
  8. Willingness to travel (at short notice) and work on customer sites both in the UK and overseas - valid Driving License.
