Qualifications

  • Recognized instrumentation apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
  • Operational experience in Oil & Gas or Chemical industries is essential.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and procedure manuals.

Job description

Our client is a world-leading producer dedicated to manufacturing products of exceptional quality. Due to growth into various export markets, they are seeking a Instrumentation Support Engineer to join their close-knit team. With sites across the globe, they offer genuine opportunities for career progression.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Resolve mechanical and process-related issues and breakdowns on site.
  • Manage spare parts and equipment stock on site, ensuring accurate inventory via SAP.
  • Perform fault finding and repairs on site equipment.
  • Prepare isolations for maintenance activities and issue Permit-to-Work documentation.
  • Prepare and review site work instructions, procedures, and risk assessments.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Recognized instrumentation apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
  • Operational experience in Oil & Gas, Chemical, or Gas processing industries.
  • Operational knowledge of industrial plant and process control systems – Siemens & ABB, including instrumentation maintenance and calibration, and quality systems on production sites.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering documents, operation and manufacturing instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Strong safety focus and operating practices.
  • Experience working in engineering or manufacturing environments.
Working Hours & Benefits

39-hour workweek: Monday – Thursday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am - 3:00 pm.
