Job Title: Data Analyst (E-Commerce)

Location: Camden (3 days in office: Tuesday - Thursday)

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + Benefits

Forsyth Barnes is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a rapidly growing women’s fashion retailer.

This scale-up business has experienced significant growth from £0 to £80M in the last 4 years and is now looking for a Data Analyst to join their team and drive meaningful insights, build robust processes, and provide essential reporting to fuel continued success.

About the Role:

As the first dedicated Data Analyst in e-commerce, you’ll play a pivotal role in setting the foundation for data processes and insights. Working closely with the fractional CTO and reporting to the E-Commerce and Digital Manager, you’ll bring order and clarity to data across the business, enabling smarter, faster decisions. This is a hands-on role with high levels of autonomy, ideal for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and making a tangible impact.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Build and maintain dashboards to automate repetitive reporting tasks.
  2. Create actionable reports across key areas, including:
    1. Returns analytics
    2. CRM data analysis
    3. Product category penetration
    4. Digital marketing performance
  3. Use GA4 to answer critical business questions and deliver insights.
  4. Support the e-commerce team across trading, CRM, digital marketing, and market analytics.
  5. Develop a consistent, robust approach to data management and reporting.
  6. Work cross-functionally with teams at varying levels of data proficiency to drive impactful outcomes.

Key Skills & Experience:
  1. 3–5 years of experience in a fast-paced retail or e-commerce environment.
  2. Proven ability to work independently and deliver results with minimal supervision.
  3. Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in data visualisation tools (preferably Looker, Qlik or PowerBI).
  4. Strong knowledge of GA4 and its application in e-commerce analytics.
  5. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
