The Integrated Community Equipment Services delivers complete end-to-end services through all stages of equipment provision and recycling.

We are looking for highly motivated individuals to help us in our mission to improve people's quality of life and independence every day. Our services enable people to remain in their homes, which helps prevent extended hospital stays and allows the NHS to focus on frontline care. Support Workers are a pivotal part of the success of our service.

What we look for in an ICES Support Worker (Driver/Fitter):
  1. Safe driving of a commercial vehicle, decontamination/recycling of equipment by hand and industrial machinery, and undertaking the delivery, installation, and collection of community equipment from service users' homes across the region.
  2. Basic DIY/equipment assembly skills and the ability to lift and move equipment.
  3. Excellent customer service skills, willingness to learn new technology, attention to detail, friendliness, and approachability.
  4. Good communication skills, resilience, and an empathetic nature.
  5. The role involves decontaminating, delivering, fitting, demonstrating, and collecting equipment within/from clients' residences.
