Job description

Audit and Accounts Semi-Senior/ Senior role - Apply now for a dynamic opportunity in a supportive firm

Your new company
Due to some exciting new work coming into the firm, a new opportunity has arisen at Semi-Senior/ Senior level within a high-quality independent regional practice. This firm is well-established and supportive, with around 25 staff. They have a stable team and a supportive and flexible working environment.

Your new role
This role offers a mix of accounts and audit work for a varied client portfolio. The proportion of audit work would depend on the time of year, but it would generally be around 25-30% audit. You will be involved in preparing accounts, conducting audits, and providing financial advice to clients. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and progress your career in a dynamic and supportive environment.

What you'll need to succeed
At Semi-Senior level, you will be at least AAT qualified and working towards ACCA/ ACA with experience working in an accountancy firm for 2 years or more. To be considered as a Senior, you will be fully qualified, close to qualifying, or qualified by experience (QBE). Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team are essential. You must be able to demonstrate a clear ability to prepare statutory accounts for review and will ideally possess some experience working on audit assignments.

What you'll get in return
You will join a friendly firm with a positive and calm working environment. Study support will be offered if you're keen to continue with your ACCA/ ACA studies with a relaxed approach to exams. Flexible start/finish times are in operation within the firm, and you will have clear opportunities for career progression over time and plenty of scope to gain broad, client-facing experience.
