Our Kitchen Assistants/Team Members are responsible for preparing our food offering to the highest quality and standards. Their role is crucial in maintaining a smooth and efficient operation in the kitchen.

Compensation:

£12.21 - £13.00 / hour

Working Hours:

From 10.00am to 2.00am, Monday to Sunday

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the kitchen is set up and ready for each service with the right amount of prepared Pasta Sauces and ingredients, including preparing par levels in the cold delivery fridge.
• Wear a full smart clean uniform and protective clothing as required.
• Adhere to Pasta Evangelists standards to ensure high product quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor ingredient availability and inform team leaders in advance.
• Record food information, ensure stock rotation (FIFO), and maintain par levels.
• Accurately record food wastage.
• Utilize SOPs to maximize food quality and speed.
• Ensure all equipment is operated and maintained according to SOPs, keeping temperature records.
• Prepare and cook food to high standards, following 'How to' cards and SOPs.
• Check deliveries, report issues, and ensure proper storage.
• Operate wash-up area and ensure equipment is cleaned thoroughly.
• Dispose of rubbish correctly, following waste management policies.
• Report equipment issues promptly.
• Follow close-down procedures to keep the kitchen clean and ready for the next shift.
• Organize pest checks and report concerns.
