Fully qualified accountant with 5+ years of experience, preferably in construction.

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team to assist on an upcoming infrastructure project based in Omagh.

Responsibilities

Preparation of month end accounts
Preparing / reviewing payment runs
Aiding with onboarding of suppliers
Reviewing cashflows
Performing credit reviews on potential supply chains
Performing cost analyses
Reviewing PO's, invoices, supplier contracts
Ensure all estimated construction costs are tracked and managed

Experience

Fully qualified accountant
5 years + experience, ideally working in a construction company
Commercial exposure and ability to hold budgets and predicted spend tight
This role will be based in the site office in Omagh

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
A certification in construction accounting is preferred
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in private or public accounting
Excellent knowledge of construction cost accounting and related financial procedures
Familiarity with accounting software, such as COINS
Working knowledge of the construction industry
Solid analytical and mathematical skills
Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
