We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team to assist on an upcoming infrastructure project based in Omagh.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation of month end accounts
  • Preparing / reviewing payment runs
  • Aiding with onboarding of suppliers
  • Reviewing cashflows
  • Performing credit reviews on potential supply chains
  • Performing cost analyses
  • Reviewing PO's, invoices, supplier contracts
  • Ensure all estimated construction costs are tracked and managed
Experience
  • Fully qualified accountant
  • 5 years + experience, ideally working in a construction company
  • Commercial exposure and ability to hold budgets and predicted spend tight
  • This role will be based in the site office in Omagh
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • A certification in construction accounting is preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in private or public accounting
  • Excellent knowledge of construction cost accounting and related financial procedures
  • Familiarity with accounting software, such as COINS
  • Working knowledge of the construction industry
  • Solid analytical and mathematical skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
