Job Description:

Dovetail & Slate are recruiting on behalf of one of the UKs largest college groups for an excellent temporary to permanent opportunity.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an Ofsted rated 'Good' college in the North East on a temporary to permanent basis.

Previous teaching experience is ideal but not a requirement. If you are an experienced Electrician with a desire to shape the lives of 16-19 learners and apprentices in their educational journey and early careers, this could be the role for you!

If you have previously trained and/or mentored apprentices, this could be a transferable skill to help you transition into a college Lecturer role where you can make a positive impact on learners and be well rewarded for your work!

What You Get

While on a temporary basis, you can earn between £730 and £950 per week AFTER TAX!

A consultant will be available to help and advise you throughout the process.

When transitioning to a permanent role, you can expect a salary of up to £46k, up to 52 days of annual leave, and 28.6% employer contributions to your pension!

What You Need

A Level 3 qualification or higher in Electrical Installation.

An Enhanced DBS, either on the update service or dated within the last 3 months, or willingness to obtain one.

A desire to pursue a teaching/lecturing career.

A teaching qualification or willingness to obtain/work towards one.
