Engineering Compliance Manager

Contract: Banking

Location: London

Hours of work: 40

We are currently recruiting for an Engineering Compliance Manager to join our dynamic engineering and small works delivery team across two client sites in London.


Job Description

This role is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills, a background in FM engineering, and the ability to work cross-divisionally. The role is pivotal in providing compliance, administrative, and operational support to the team, ensuring high standards of performance, safety, and client satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate all engineering compliance standards across London.
  2. Manage documentation for the engineering team.
  3. Raise commercial documentation - PO's, Credit notes etc.
  4. Conduct H&S documentation reviews.
  5. Conduct filing and review of engineer's documentation.
  6. Assist the project team in surveying small works and MAC.
  7. Setting up and maintaining the compliance and engineering risk and issues strategy and processes, ensuring any escalations are dealt with by the appropriate individual within the client estate.
  8. Collating risks and opportunities and issues from all workstreams at delivery level, analysing and recommending actions.
  9. Coordinating and arranging the commercial/delivery change control methodology.
  10. To maintain day to day contact with Client representatives to review and resolve operational matters.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  1. Preferably a minimum of 5 years experience operating as a Manager Level within the building maintenance industry, preferably in banking sector / corporate environments /commercial offices.
  2. Demonstrate experience in engineering.
  3. Demonstrate experience of managing Health & Safety compliance.
  4. Demonstrate experience of managing commercials up to a value of £500k.
  5. Demonstrate IT literacy capability for software applications such as AUTOCAD, Intellect (accounts) plus full literacy with Microsoft Office suite, including MS Project.
  6. Demonstrate experience and competency with PDA and mobile telephone software and applications.
  7. Demonstrate experience of managing/supporting/coaching a team of people to deliver quality projects to stakeholders.
