Salary: £31,650.00 - £43,607.00 Annually (Actual) - MPS + SEN Allowance of £5,285.00 per annum

Our client, a welcoming primary school based in Ipswich, Suffolk, is seeking a dedicated SEU Teacher to lead a small, specialised provision within the school. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pupils who require additional emotional and behavioural support.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored lessons and interventions to support the social, emotional, and academic development of pupils in the SEU
Create a safe, nurturing and structured learning environment
Develop and implement individual support plans in collaboration with the SENCO and wider pastoral team
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and external agencies
Promote inclusion and enable pupils to reintegrate into mainstream classes where appropriate
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience working with children with SEMH, SEND, or behavioural needs
A strong understanding of trauma-informed and restorative practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to remain calm, patient, and adaptable under pressure
