Job Opportunity: Senior Quantity Surveyor

We have a current opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor on a contract basis. The position is based in and around West Yorkshire, mainly Huddersfield, Dewsbury, and Mirfield.

This role is with a Tier 1 Rail and Civils contractor, working on large-scale Rail, Civils, Construction, and Infrastructure projects.

We are seeking a Rail and Civils Quantity Surveyor with experience in high-value, high-volume projects, working with Tier 1 clients, PC's, subcontractors, and end clients.

Essential Requirements:

1. Minimum 5+ years in a commercial/Quantity Surveyor role
2. Background in Rail, Civils, Heavy Civils, including structures such as bridges, footbridges, viaducts, groundworks, earthworks, vegetation, drainage, station works, refurbishments, platform extensions, lineside, and ancillary civils
3. Experience working with Tier 1/PC projects
4. Experience in large-scale projects and adaptability to different frameworks
5. Heavy Civils experience

This is a long-term freelance role, with a minimum of 12 months and potential for up to 3+ years.

Inside IR35, offering £450-£500 per day DOE. The ideal candidate will be based in West Yorkshire and able to commute daily to site offices.

Immediate start preferred. Interviews will be conducted via Teams, lasting approximately 45-60 minutes.
