Field based EUD Engineer – Public Sector

Oxfordshire

6-Month Contract

£250/day (Inside IR35)

A large and well-established public sector organisation is seeking a proactive and customer-focused End User Device (EUD) Engineer to join their ICT team on an initial 6-month contract.

As an EUD Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring seamless support for end users, maintaining high-quality service standards, and helping to reduce service disruptions across the organisation. This is a hands-on role requiring a strong technical background in end user device support and a keen attention to service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver excellent customer support and respond effectively to incidents, service requests, and problems.
• Troubleshoot Windows 10 devices, smartphones, laptops, and desktops.
• Collaborate with internal teams and third-party suppliers to maintain service quality.
• Contribute to asset management and governance processes.
• Support IT moves, events, and projects across multiple locations.
• Identify trends, suggest improvements, and help update knowledge base content.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in ICT operational delivery.
• Strong support experience with Windows 10 and a range of end user devices.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Full UK driving licence (travel across sites may be required).
• ITIL certification and experience using ServiceNow (desirable).
