Job description

Interim Financial Controller
To £65,000/£425 per day
Portsmouth
Three Month Minimum Contract

As Interim Financial Controller, you must be an experienced finance professional with the ability to run a successful day-to-day finance function. You will be managing financial performance and coordinating the reporting effectively, supporting business growth plans in accordance with business plans and processes.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage day-to-day finance operations.
  2. Priority focus on cash management, forecasting, credit control, and supplier management.
  3. Manage cashflow processes, optimizing profits and minimizing losses.
  4. Monitor and manage financial risks in line with compliance and regulations.
  5. Business partnering and working collaboratively on projects.
Do you have the knowledge and experience?
  1. ACA / ACCA / ACMA / CIMA qualified.
  2. Experience in a fast-paced finance environment.
  3. Ability to review processes from a broad perspective to a detailed drill-down and strive for efficiency and effectiveness.
  4. An all-rounder with the ability to roll up sleeves and dig in.
  5. Ability to operate independently.
  6. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  7. Strong decision-making abilities.
