Job description

This is a forward-thinking and inclusive school committed to academic excellence and cultural enrichment. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated MFL Teacher to join their team and inspire students in their language learning journey. This role begins September 2025.

Duties as an MFL Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in [French/Spanish/German/Other] across [KS3/KS4/KS5].

  • Develop students' confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in the target language.

  • Foster an appreciation for different cultures and global perspectives.

  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.

  • Contribute to the development of the MFL curriculum and extra-curricular activities, such as language clubs or international trips.

Ideal MFL Teacher:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS).

  • A degree in [French/Spanish/German/Other] or a related subject.

  • Experience teaching MFL at [KS3/KS4/KS5] level.

  • A passion for language learning and cultural exchange.

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills as an MFL Teacher.
