Job description

About The Role

We are seeking Student Support Officers to work across multiple departments who will play a key role in enhancing the taught student experience from induction through to graduation.

You will work collaboratively with academic and professional services staff to contribute to an effective integrated student support system within a specific academic department, as well as help to identify students at risk of not succeeding, utilising the internal processes/services available.

You will provide support for colleagues and processes supporting students through academic advising, course engagement monitoring, Disability Access Plans, Health, Wellbeing & Support for Study plans, Return to Study, and liaising with Student Support & Safeguarding.

You will foster and maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues in the academic department, the Faculty, Student Support & Safeguarding. and across the wider University.

This role is offered on a full-time basis (36.5 hours per week) and is expected to last 24 months.
