Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage contracts within the Transport & Distribution department.
- Ensure all contractual obligations are met efficiently and on time.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Optimize logistical operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve contractual and logistical issues.
- Monitor market trends in the Transport & Distribution industry.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Implement strategies for continuous improvement within the logistics department.
The Successful Candidate
The ideal Transport Contract Manager should possess:
- CPC Qualification or the ability to obtain it.
- Experience in contract management within the Transport & Distribution industry.
- Strong knowledge of logistics and distribution processes.
- Ability to manage on-site customer relationships and report on performance and service levels.
- Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and team collaboration.
- Willingness to commute daily to Yate - Bristol.
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
