Job Introduction

Due to an occupational requirement, we are encouraging applications from males in order to increase our male workforce to meet the individual needs of our service users.

If you have the empathy, resilience, and dedication to enrich the lives of the individuals we support, we want to hear from you! No prior care experience? We will provide all necessary support, including comprehensive induction, face-to-face training, e-learning, shadowing, and assistance in obtaining a Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification.

*Roles are paid at £12.70 per hour or approximately £27,440 annually based on a 42-hour week. Salary figures are illustrative.

Shifts vary across days, nights, and weekends, offering flexibility to fit your commitments.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support service users to lead full, active lives aligned with their wishes and support plans
  • Ensure safety and wellbeing, taking action to safeguard from abuse
  • Provide emotional support with a person-centred approach
  • Assist with social activities, managing finances, medication, personal care, and healthcare needs
  • Act as a point of contact for families and social workers
  • Accurately report and record care-related issues
  • Follow health and safety regulations and maintain professional boundaries
  • Adhere to organisational policies and demonstrate organisational values
