Job description

Job Title: Head of Department - Engineering

Location: Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth

Hours: Full Time – 37 hpw

Contract: Permanent

Salary: Band M – £44,880 to £50,490 FTE (dependent on qualifications and experience)

About the Role

Are you passionate about Engineering? Do you want to make a significant impact through your leadership skills? Are you eager to develop the future workforce with your extensive Engineering experience?

At East Coast College, our Engineering team operates within state-of-the-art facilities and includes lecturers, assessors, technicians, and work placement administrators, all dedicated to delivering an innovative and quality-driven curriculum that meets industry needs.

Leading a team currently training around 370 students across Further Education, Higher Education, and Apprenticeships, you will play a key role in their success.

Your ability to inspire and challenge staff will enhance our highly regarded employer partnerships across Norfolk and Suffolk. Using your knowledge of sector needs, technological advances, and a passion for Engineering, you will help facilitate student and college success.
