Creative Partnerships Lead (Freelance / Fixed-Term)

Hybrid (Birmingham office)

Part-time(1–3 days/week, flexible)

Freelance contract(3–6 months to start, with potential to become permanent)

DIFFER

We’re DIFFER — a small but mighty creative production studio based in Birmingham, making impactful video, photography and social content. We work with brands, agencies, artists and broadcasters to turn big ideas into creative visual and audio content that stands out.

We’re growing, and as we get busier with production we're looking for someone to help us grow in the right direction — by getting DIFFER in front of the people and projects we'd love to work with.

The Role

We’re after an imaginative, confident and well-connectedCreative Partnerships Lead. Your job is to help us tell our story to prospective and current clients. We want you to identify new business opportunities, start the right conversations and strike up long-lasting and meaningful partnerships with clients who want premium content.

This isn’t a hard-sell kind of role. It’s about thoughtful outreach, warm intros, spotting opportunities and helping DIFFER show up in the right rooms. You’ll work closely with our Creative Director to plan, pitch and grow.

This is afreelance role to start(3–6 months), with the potential to become something more permanent if the fit is right.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Finding and researching new business leads across brands, agencies and broadcasters
  • Reaching out in a smart, human, non-spammy way
  • Setting up intro chats and meets
  • Identifying pitching opportunities and bringing in new briefs
  • Discovering new business, event and awards opportunities
  • Representing DIFFER at industry events
  • Helping shape decks and proposals
  • Maintaining client relations
  • Tracking all this in our friendly CRM

You’ll Probably Love This Role If You:

  • Have experience in business development or partnerships — especially in a creative agency, content studio or production company
  • Know how to talk about creative work
  • Enjoy building relationships more than closing sales
  • Are organised and a self-starter

Bonus Points If You:

  • Already know some brands or agencies who might love us
  • Have experience or an interest in the creative production process
