Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 - Acute Dietitian specialising within the dietetics field in Somerset.

We are looking for an individual to earn £26 hourly on an ongoing, full-time basis. This role is an excellent opportunity to work within the NHS and gain experience in a dynamic healthcare setting.

What you will do:

  1. Provide nutritional assessments and interventions across various clinical areas within the hospital
  2. Implement successful enteral feeding plans
  3. Collaborate with medical teams to support patient recovery and health
  4. Deliver outpatient oncology dietary consultations (experience in this is advantageous)
  5. Maintain accurate records and documentation
  6. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care

Responsibilities and general duties:

Applicants must have recent acute hospital experience across a range of clinical areas. Required skills include expertise in nutritional interventions such as enteral feeding. Having experience in outpatient oncology is advantageous. A valid HCPC registration is required, and candidates must be car drivers.
