London, occasional site travel

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing consultancy during a period of great growth. You will work on a variety of large-scale projects for a diverse client base while benefiting from ongoing training and clear career progression.

Are you a nearly or fully chartered Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong experience working on residential projects and looking for a new opportunity? Our client is an ambitious consultancy with a national presence, specializing in carbon management, quantity surveying, project management, and clerks of works. While they operate across the UK, the majority of their projects are based in London. They provide tailored services to blue-chip clients and work on large-scale residential, student accommodation, and co-living developments valued at up to 170 million. This year, they have acquired a new project every week since the start of the year, meaning they are in a significant period of growth. As a result, they are looking to add to their dynamic team with this fantastic opportunity.

In this role, you will take on a number of responsibilities, primarily working from the office but occasionally visiting sites inside and outside the city. You will be responsible for preparing tender documents and managing the process, including the design marking schemes. One of your main responsibilities will be the successful management of cost plans, where you will develop, monitor, and control project budgets, ensuring they remain within financial constraints and providing cost-effective solutions throughout the lifecycle. Additionally, you will liaise with customers to continue developing, growing, and maintaining relationships, which will help identify new business development opportunities.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor with previous consultancy experience who is looking to advance their career. They should also have strong cost planning experience to provide excellent service to their clients.
