Position: Machine Shop Supervisor

Location: West Midlands

Salary: £32,000 - £37,500 + Excellent Benefits

The Company: Our client is a cutting-edge, multi-disciplined design and engineering leader, specialising in providing automation engineering services and solutions across diverse industries.

Due to sustained continued expansion, they are now seeking a Machine Shop Supervisor to be responsible for the flow of work through the Machining Department and completion of work to project deadline demands.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Forecast labour and equipment requirements for work to be scheduled.
2. Day-to-day management of direct reports, along with technical, professional and personal development.
3. Leading improvement activity within the department.
4. Setting and operating Haas TM-2P CNC mill (Fanuc controls).
5. Complete programming using Openmind Hypermill or similar CAD/CAM package.

The Person:

Candidates suitable for consideration should be able to provide evidence of the following:

1. A HNC / HND / Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar).
2. Setting and operating Haas TM-2P CNC mill (Fanuc controls).
3. Programming using Openmind Hypermill or similar CAD/CAM package.

You will be self-motivated, have excellent communication skills both written and oral, be computer literate, and able to work as part of a team.
