Full time role starting ASAP
A primary school in Manchester are looking for a confident Teaching Assistant to work in their year 3 classroom as a general Teaching Assistant. The role is long term position starting ASAP up until the end of the academic year.
The school has achieved a grading of “good” by the new OFSTED framework. This one form entry school has a friendly atmosphere and an extremely supportive staff structure. The role is to be general class support, being able to adapt to a different classroom environment day to day.
The successful candidate would need to have experience with school based environment or similar childcare setting. You will want to learn how to assess pupils’ progress and have high expectations of themselves and the pupils in their care. You would have a good understanding of the national curriculum and be confident in both Maths and English. You will have a caring and nurturing nature with high expectation of behaviour.
