Specialist Public Practice recruiters Clark Wood are currently working with a highly progressive and well-renowned independent firm of accountants in Henley on Thames, who, as a result of recent client wins, are seeking to recruit an ACA or ACCA Qualified Accounts Senior (non-audit) to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, predominantly made up of owner-managed businesses, and will ensure that all compliance work is completed accurately and efficiently for clients within their designated portfolio.

The workload will be primarily focused on the preparation and review of statutory accounts and tax returns, as the majority of clients will have turnovers approaching the audit threshold.

The ideal candidate will have experience in an Accounts and Tax-focused position within a client-facing environment and will have gained significant exposure to a range of clients, particularly those within the SME and OMB market.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to join an established and forward-thinking firm where there will be genuine scope for career development, initially to Accounts Manager, and then upwards for the right individual.

The Henley on Thames office is commutable from areas across Berkshire, Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire, including Oxford, Reading, and Thame.

Skills:

  1. ACA / ACCA Student, Part Qualified, Finalist or Qualified
  2. Excellent understanding of the accounting and tax requirements of SMEs
  3. Experience in staff and client management
