Maintenance Engineer

£40,000 - £42,000 + Training + Days Based + Optional Overtime + 1 in 4 Fridays off

Glasgow

Are you an apprentice-trained Maintenance Engineer looking to work for a successful food manufacturer in a days-based role? You will be working on newly upgraded machinery, receiving training from senior engineers, and have the option for overtime to boost your earnings.

On offer is the opportunity to work at one of the country's leading suppliers of condiments in Scotland. They have been operating for over 20 years, diversifying their product range and working with clients like Asda, Tesco, and Morrisons. They have recently upgraded machinery and are seeking a Maintenance Engineer.

This role involves carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance on the company's FMCG machinery, including mechanical and electrical maintenance, with training available on the mechanical side.

This position is suitable for an apprentice-trained Maintenance Engineer or similar, looking to work in a days-based role within a close-knit team. The company offers training, career progression opportunities, a range of benefits, and optional overtime to increase your take-home pay.

The Role

1. Maintaining production machinery
2. Following planned preventative maintenance strategies
3. Carrying out installation for project work
4. Monday - Thursday 6:00 - 15:00 & 8:30 - 17:30
5. Friday 6:00 - 12:00 with 1 in 4 Fridays off
