About The Role

Are you passionate about health, inequalities, and the role of social and economic factors in shaping our health? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Healthy Lives team to update and curate content for our Evidence Hub, a flagship project that brings together key analysis on health trends, inequalities, and the determinants of health. You will also produce timely and policy relevant analysis on related issues.

The Healthy Lives directorate is committed to improving health and reducing inequalities through action on the building blocks of health including good-quality homes, stable jobs, and adequate income. Our analytical team produces innovative and novel analysis to highlight the impact of social and economic policy choices on health and to understand how health affects social and economic outcomes. We raise awareness and advocate for greater action on these determinants.

As the postholder, you will collaborate effectively across the Healthy Lives directorate and bring a background in social or economic policy and analysis. You will become proficient in using household surveys to support analysis and research to inform policy debates on factors affecting health and inequalities, such as poverty, income, and housing.
