Job Description
This role is an exciting opportunity for a Adoption and Training Specialist who can deliver education and training plans across the organisation, teaching people how to use M365 services.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, eager to expand their knowledge about technology, and adept at building relationships with others. As our use of M365 technologies expands, we seek someone who can help the Bank be more productive and feel confident using the tools we make available.
Role Responsibilities
- Champion the use and adoption of Digital Workplace technologies, offering advice and guidance to empower colleagues across the Bank to communicate and collaborate more effectively.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training courses to various audience sizes, primarily virtually but also in-person when needed.
- Analyse a large set of education needs and strategize the best ways to implement them efficiently with available resources, focusing on time management and forward planning.
- Design engaging training materials and presentations tailored to diverse learning styles and technological proficiency levels.
- Stay abreast of new technologies and adapt training programs accordingly to ensure colleagues are comfortable and proficient with evolving tools.
- Engage with stakeholders at various levels of seniority to promote technology adoption and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Work closely with our network of Bank-wide Technology champions ('Digital Ninjas') to support tech modernisation and run adoption campaigns.
Minimum Criteria- Experience in analysing educational needs and using this requirement to build and deliver training plans to a wide variety of audiences
- Strong knowledge and experience with implementation of M365 tooling, including but not limited to MS Teams, SharePoint Online and Microsoft Office
- Experience in explaining technical functionality to a non-technical audience
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with a drive to complete tasks efficiently
Essential Criteria- Interest in and comprehensive understanding of Microsoft 365 technologies
- Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with experience in creating captivating presentations
- Experience in designing engaging and visually appealing user guidance
- Positive 'can-do' attitude and ability to work well under pressure
Desirable CriteriaAlthough these are not essential, we would love to hear about any prior experience you have in the following areas:
- Experience in leading the business change of an upgrade to or a release of M365 technology
- Have experience in keeping up to date with M365 technology roadmaps and new releases
- Being adaptable to last minute changes in a fast paced environment
- Experience in working alongside networks across large organisations

Salary and Benefits InformationWe encourage flexible working, part time working and job share arrangements. Part time salary and benefits will be on a pro-rated basis as appropriate.
The salary on offer for this role is:
Leeds: £36,400 - £40,950In addition, we also offer a comprehensive benefits package as detailed below:
- Currently a non-contributory, career average pension giving you a guaranteed retirement benefit of 1/80th of your annual salary for every year worked. There is the option to increase your pension (to 1/65th) or decrease (to 1/105th) in exchange for salary through our flexible benefits programme each year. The Bank has the discretion to vary standard accrual rates and dial up and dial down rates at any time and to withdraw dial up and dial down options at any time.
- A discretionary performance award based on a current award pool.
- An 8% benefits allowance with the option to take as salary or purchase a wide range of flexible benefits.
- 26 days' annual leave with option to buy up to 12 additional days through flexible benefits.
- Private medical insurance and income protection.
National Security Vetting ProcessEmployment in this role will be subject to the National Security Vetting clearance process (and typically can take between 6 to 12 weeks post offer) and the passing of additional Bank security checks in accordance with the Bank policy.
