Department Overview:

We are a locally owned outdoor lifestyle boutique that offers a great selection of apparel, equipment, footwear, and gifts from brands like Patagonia, Prana, Toad&Co, Chaco, Smartwool, Birkenstock, Vuori, and many others.We are very focused on creating a community-focused culture for our staff and our customers.

As a small shop, our staff is key to our success.

Our shop is open 7 days a week:

Sunday 11-5

M-F 11-6

Saturday 10-5

Salary/Wage Range:

Hourly $15.00 to $22.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:

We are planning for the summer at Hive, and that means we're hiring now.

For those who know us, you know we're looking for folks who are friendly to a fault, seriously hardworking, self-motivated, and fun to be around.

The right candidates will absolutely love engaging customers of all ages, genders, identities, sizes, expressions, and walks of life.

And, other operational and creative skills--like marketing, social media, event management, graphic design, or merchandising--will certainly get our attention!

Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate is very outgoing and self-motivated. They are interested in learning new skills and products, and sharing that knowledge with our customers. They will work well with others, and be eager to take on new responsibilities.

Retail, hospitality, and/or customer-facing experience is favored but not required if you've got the right background and attitude.

2-3 weekdays and at least 1 on weekends.

Successful applicants will be available to work a minimum of three shifts a week and will include weekend hours as well as weekdays depending on the number of hours worked in a week, and responsibilities will include a full range of customer-facing and back-of-house duties.
