Key Responsibilities
- Design robust module delivery plans following approved narratives, ensuring clarity and alignment with virtual and live learning components.
- Create and develop subject-specific content for Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and live sessions to meet learning objectives.
- Participate in module and cross-module meetings to discuss issues, share best practices, and coordinate with content and curriculum teams.
- Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives to adapt and enhance content and processes for optimal apprentice learning experiences.
- Deliver final content for VLE, live sessions, and supporting documentation, totaling approximately 30 hours of self-paced learning and 6 hours of live seminars.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
- Experience in training, teaching, education, or learning delivery.
- Significant industry experience in construction and materials science, with knowledge of suitable materials and applications.
- Proven ability to manage projects and ensure timely delivery of key aspects.
- Experience designing impactful learning, training, or educational content.
- Track record of developing and delivering successful learning programs or schemes.
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn, ask questions, and seek out information.
- Solve problems proactively, seek input, develop solutions, and make decisions.
- Strong communication skills to engage and inspire learners, simplifying complex concepts.
- Ability to work autonomously, take responsibility, and meet targets.
- Excellent organization, prioritization, and attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Comfortable with IT tools such as Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Virtual Learning Environments, and confident in face-to-face communication.
