Production Technicians - Alton

We are seeking experienced Production Technicians for a leading specialist manufacturing company near Alton. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in electro-mechanical production environments, particularly in assembly of various parts and equipment, including small, fragile, and specialized components.

This role requires technicians with a background in assembly and machine operation, with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail. The position involves more than just assembly; candidates should be capable of operating machinery, working with plastic mouldings, heat plates, and other related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Electro-mechanical assembly
2. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
3. Assembly, soldering, wiring, and crimping
4. Mechanical machine assembly
5. Injection moulding
6. Working with heat plates
7. Handling plastic resins and chemicals
8. Operating machinery
9. Monitoring product quality during packaging and packing, ensuring targets and deadlines are met

The role is based on Monday to Friday day shifts, with an early finish on Fridays. This is an excellent opportunity to learn a trade and develop skills across multiple departments.
