Location:Covent Garden, London

Salary:£38.72 per hour, inclusive of pro rata holiday entitlement and preparation time

Hours: Variable depending on course programming

About the role

Are you a dynamic and creative Dance teacher? We are looking to enhance our faculty of dance teachers and encourage applications from those with professional experience and relevant teaching experience.

City Lit currently offers Classical ballet, Contemporary, Tango, Ballroom and Latin, Salsa, Tap, Burlesque, Charleston, Swing, Jive, Flamenco, Jazz and Musical theatre. The current offer is listed here:Dance Courses & Lessons London | Learn to Dance | City Lit

We are looking for tutors able to cover existing classes as a dep teacher, and possibly to open new courses.

  • Up to date knowledge, professional experience and enthusiasm for the subject that can inspire students.
  • Ability to support students to overcome barriers to learning and inspire them to achieve.
  • A qualification and/or experience relevant to the subject being taught.
  • A teaching qualification.
