A leading healthcare provider in Belfast is seeking a part-time Medical Receptionist/Administrator to support their practice. This role involves patient interaction, general administration, and requires strong communication and organizational skills. Ideal candidates will have GCSEs and experience in a similar role, with flexibility to cover absences.

Job description

Medical Receptionist/ Administrator (28 hrs pw)

Reporting to the Practice Manager my Client based BT12 area of Belfast require a Part-time Medical Receptionist/Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis

Duties:

  • Meet & greet all patients to the front desk
  • Answer all telephone calls
  • Passing on results to patients
  • General Administration (filing; post; scanning etc.)
  • Although during the working day any of these areas may interchange according to the needs of the practice and patients and other duties may be added as required
  • Previous experience in a similar role (to include telephone & face to face contact)
  • 4 GCSE’s @ grade A – C inc English & Maths or equivalent
  • Fully computer literate
  • Evidence of working in a team & on own initiative
  • Excellent communication & organizational skills
  • Flexibility to cover sickness & holiday
  • Available asap
  • Experience in a medical environment (GP surgery) advantageous although training will be given

Salary £12.21 per hour (increase after 6 months satisfactory probationary period)
