Job Description:

Direct Medics is partnering with an NHS Trust to find an experienced and dedicated Mental Health Practitioner based in West Lancashire, providing comprehensive specialist services in Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS).

Locum roles with Direct Medics offer a great way to enhance your earning potential and work alongside some of the most professional mental health teams in the country. This role is ideal for a candidate with CAMHS experience, including registered mental health nurses, social workers, or allied health professionals with leadership experience in delivering high-quality services that promote the mental health and well-being of children, young people, their families, and carers. The role is ideally full-time (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm) with an initial duration of 3 months.

Requirements include:

  • Professional/recognized Degree in Mental Health Nursing, Social Work, or related field with relevant registration
  • Paid UK experience working with children or in general mental health, including CAMHS experience (OT and Social Worker)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Full UK Driver's License and access to a car
  • Right to live and work in the UK/Ireland
