Job summary
Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership (AWP) Operations Directorate is seeking to appoint an experienced leader to address health inequalities for people with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and neurodiversity (MHC, LD & N).
This is a new position within the organization, offering an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to collaborate with other leaders and agenda setters within AWP and the wider care system. The post holder will lead efforts to reduce disparities in healthcare access and improve outcomes by ensuring services are equitable, accessible, and responsive to marginalized and underserved communities.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate an understanding of issues affecting health outcomes for hard-to-reach and marginalized groups, along with a strategic understanding of the Reducing Healthcare Inequalities agenda.
The successful applicant will work across the organization, engaging with clinical teams, support services, and key partners and stakeholders to provide strategic and operational leadership for the CORE20PLUS5 agenda and support the implementation of PCREF.
The role requires strong data analytical skills, knowledge of service design and transformation, and mature communication skills, particularly in engaging underserved communities.
