Senior Associate, Corporate Broking & PLC Advisory

Key Relationships:

• Listed Client Group: Leadership, Corporate Broking & PLC Advisory team, and Equities teams (Research, Distribution, Trading).
• Private Equity and Private Company Client Groups.
• Private Client and Sector Specialist Client Groups.
• International Businesses of Investec.
• Third-Party Partnerships: Investec Capital Mind, Blackarch/Regions Bank.

Team Description:

The team focuses on UK listed companies in the Tech & Media Internet & Platforms sectors.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Client Relationship Management: Maintain and develop relationships with listed company clients, ensuring satisfaction.
• Proposal Preparation: Support in preparing proposals and pitches for new and existing clients.
• Transaction Execution: Assist in executing transactions like capital raisings and M&A, including documentation review.
• Market Communication: Review client communications for clarity and compliance.
• Regulatory Advice: Provide timely regulatory and market advice (AIM/Main Market, MAR, etc.).
• Investor Relations: Support in managing client-investor relationships.
• Sector Knowledge: Keep updated on sector trends and market practices.
• Internal Collaboration: Leverage Investec's capabilities for client solutions.
• CRM Management: Record all client communications properly.
• Administrative Support: Support pitch materials and team agendas.
• Professional Development: Continuously upskill in investment banking.

Skills and Experience:

• Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of FCA, AIM, City Code, MAR, etc.
• Integrity: Commitment to fairness and ethical conduct.
• Financial Skills: Analysis, valuation, and modeling expertise.
