We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Cyber Technology Engineer to join our Information Security Division team. This role is located in Manchester – hybrid.

The Cyber Tech Platforms and Tools team is seeking a mid-level software engineer to join our EMEA team. This role is critical in enhancing our 24/7 operational coverage, assisting the senior software engineer, and improving response times for incidents and requests.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  1. Collaborating with the senior software engineer, developing and maintaining cyber software platforms, responding to incidents and requests, identifying and addressing potential security vulnerabilities, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  2. Working with a global team on cutting-edge cyber software platforms, enhancing skills and career growth, and contributing to the overall success and resilience of our global operations.
  3. Proactively identifying cyber incidents by designing and implementing innovative strategies. Perform comprehensive data analysis on large datasets and deploy cutting-edge solutions to enhance cybersecurity measures.
  4. Demonstrating the ability to swiftly engineer solutions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  2. Strong background in both software development and engineering, with a balanced skill set essential for maintaining and enhancing our cyber software platforms.
  3. Relevant experience in software development and engineering.
  4. Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment are essential.
