Corporate Head of Community Housing, South West London

Pay rate: £550 per day

Contract role, Local Government Housing

Pertemps is recruiting an experienced Corporate Head of Community Housing in South West London.

You will need experience in a similar role within a Local Authority.

Role purpose

If you join Kingston Council as one of our new Corporate Heads of Service, you will play a key role in achieving the council’s ambitions.

The Council is focused on progressing its thinking to deliver the best outcomes for its communities. To do this, the Council needs Corporate Heads of Service who thrive in a networked organization, can work across complex networks and systems, and provide strong operational leadership within a strategic context.

Corporate Heads of Service will focus on three main areas:

• Corporate leadership, working as part of a wider organizational network supporting the council’s ongoing transformation
• Functional leadership, with responsibility for services, resources, and people
• Locality focus, as part of the Council’s Neighbourhoods model

The role reports directly to the Assistant Director, Commissioning and Transformation, and is responsible for Housing Options, private sector schemes, welfare reform, temporary accommodation, and resettlement teams.
