Fleet Controller (6 month fixed term contract) (30704) Edinburgh, Scotland

This role is responsible for executing the business plan by ensuring the right car is in the right place at the right time, through fluid and agile management of the car park and ready line to ensure effective customer service flow.

The Hertz Corporation operates the Hertz, Dollar Car Rental, and Thrifty Car Rental brands across approximately 9,700 locations worldwide, including North America, Europe, The Caribbean, Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. Hertz is one of the largest airport general use vehicle rental companies and is highly recognized globally.

Role Overview

As a Fleet Controller, your key responsibilities include:

  1. Managing all vehicles that arrive at the location during your shift.
  2. Updating the MARS system to ensure all vehicles are accurately tracked.
  3. Collaborating with the fleet manager and multi-location managers to ensure the fleet is prepared for customer demand.
  4. Handling all body shop requests and on-site maintenance.
  5. Processing off-site dealership bookings.
  6. Contributing to department performance by meeting key metrics such as non-rev management.
